Welcome to Favorite Things Friday, No 8! Amazing turnout last week and so I'm planning to feature more than two links this week. But first, I HAVE to share my favorite things for the week. I had two awesome things happen for me this week.
The first has to do with a project I haven't shared yet. This spice cabinet makeover I finished last week.
Here is the BEFORE shot.
Nice, right? I think so. Apparently someone else did too. It sold Monday night. That's not the amazing part, though. Tuesday morning I noticed that people were adding it as a favorite. I thought that was a little odd since it was no longer listed, but I didn't think too much about it. Then I noticed tons of new shop hearts. After donning my detective hat, I finally figured out that it had been featured in an Etsy newsletter!
My next most favorite thing was that I was featured on Today's Creative blog today!
I came across TCB last Dec or Jan, when I first started reading crafty blogs and I have to admit that it's been a bloggy dream of mine to one day be featured there. Thanks to my bud, Madigan from madigan made for letting me know about it! I've been so busy with the Etsy stuff the past couple of days that I've been slacking off on my blog reading. Also, thanks to all of the awesome peeps who left me comments and to those to decided they liked my blog enough to follow me. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. And last, but not least, thank you, Kim, for featuring my blog. You're too awesome!
Whew, all of that was a post by itself! OK, now it's time for me to feature some of the projects that were linked up to last week's Favorite Things Friday.
I love this Valentine Specimen Art that Kyra from RACKS and Mooby did! I've already gotten everything I need to create copy this. It's actually one of the crafts I hope to get to this weekend.
The lovely and talented Bev from Flamingo Toes shows how to make this adorable stitched love note. Bev, you need to be selling these!
Jocelyn from Inside BruCrew Life shared this Valentine that she made for part of a Valentine card drive for the children of St. Jude. Anyone who is interested in participating in this awesome drive, you can find the deets here. What a great project to get your own kids to do! Thanks, Jocelyn, for bringing this awesome drive to my attention!
The last project I'm sharing caught my eye while I was browsing another link party. Because I love "The Office", I love this. If you're a fan of the show, I think you'll appreciate it too.
*If you were featured, please feel free to grab a button from the sidebar.
Now it's your turn to link up some of your favorite things.
Rules:There's really only one. Please, please, please link back to the party so that others can join in. Also, it'd be really nice of you if you could visit a few of the other linkups and leave a nice comment.
