I LOVE this thing! I didn't even want one because I love real books and I couldn't imagine not holding a real book in my hands. That changed immediately. This thing is so awesome. You can store and read books and magazines so no clutter! You can read customer reviews and download samples of a book before you buy it. If you want a book, you can buy it and start reading it from your bed, in your P.J.'s! How cool is that??? You can carry all of your books in magazines in your purse, all at one time! Never again get stuck in the car line or Dr. office without something to read. You can play games on it. You can even surf the web. So yay to Charles for getting me such an awesome gift!

i'd been resistant to a kindle type thing, but i found out my library has ebooks! i think they are very limited in terms of selection, but you can still "rent" them, which was my huge beef with handhelds. how fun for you!
