More Spring Decor

You know what's funny?  Since I decided to give myself a break on Etsy, I've listed several items.  I've done three Etsy projects this week.  The funny part is that I haven't been stressed out about it.  I worked on these things because I wanted to, not because I felt I had to.  I guess I just needed to stop pushing myself and make myself stop getting so caught up in it.

Here's the before shot of one of my latest projects.  My MIL thrifted this tray for me last week.

 Here's the after shot.

It looks great with those eggs and nests that I got from Target.  If you haven't seen where I've mentioned these before, you get three nests and a bunch of eggs for around $5.  You can't beat that!  You'll find them over with the vase fillers and Spring items.

  1. I noticed you being pretty busy...and thought, that's probably what you needed, to get it all out there and now it's all better! SO happy for you!

  3. So cute! And go you for working and not being stressed...I bet it feels good!
I have a question! On something like this, do you paint it white and then glaze? I am wondering how to achieve the look of the brown coming through the white. There are a couple of items I have painted...but I wished they looked like this!

  5. You have such great ideas! I wish I could think of cute projects to do. I walk around goodwill and thrift stores hopping to find something that I can make cute and I don't tend to have very good luck so thank you for the ideas! keep them coming!

  6. Love how the tray looks now, Kristi! I like the touch of the three nests with eggs. I think that sometimes we put more pressure on ourselves than anyone else could. I'm glad you are doing things because you enjoy them; not because you feel you have to.
