Little Birdies Get New Clothes

I got these at GW years ago and managed to sand the shellac off of them before they got lost in the garage for awhile.

To help them, I mixed a few colors of Folk Art paint together and painted them; then added some cute paper.  Charles made new bases for them since one is still out in the garage somewhere.

  6. Hi Kristi! I am so glad that my post on painting stripes on textured walls can be a help to you!

Now about those little birdies! So cute!! I always see plain wooden stuff at Goodwill and garage sales, I need to keep in mind how a little paint and cute paper can make a huge change. You did great, I love them :)
