Lamp Makeover

I got this lamp a few weeks ago, while out thrifting.

My urge was to paint it black like everything else I paint, but I fought that urge and used Rustoleum's Aqua.
I LOVE it!!

This is in Han's bathroom as a nonfunctional, eye-candy only, lamp (there are no outlets near where I put it).

Thanks also for the tip on the color, I tried a Robin's Egg Blue from Valspar and it was more like 80s teal!

  13. I too struggle with painting everything the same color, but you gals painting all of these pretty blue projects are swaying me. I have never been a blue gal but I think I am a convert. My husband would LOL if I read this post to him because decorating with a lamp that can't function is something I would do.
